Six Decades of Family Service
In 1965, Lemuel C. Johnson founded Dial One Johnson with a straightforward philosophy: treat people honestly and do quality work. Nearly 60 years later, that philosophy hasn’t changed, even as the company has grown from one truck to four locations serving over 20 North Texas communities.
What has changed is who carries that philosophy forward. Today, Sherrie Johnson-Hartsock, Lemuel’s daughter-in-law, leads the company as owner and president. Daniel Johnson, Lemuel’s grandson and a third-generation master plumber, serves as General Manager, overseeing service operations and ensuring every job meets the standards his grandfather established.
Why Family Matters
Being family-owned isn’t just a talking point, it shapes how we operate. We don’t answer to corporate shareholders or franchise headquarters. We answer to our neighbors. When a Johnson answers the phone or a technician shows up wearing our name, they’re representing three generations of reputation built on doing right by people.

Daniel Johnson
General Manager
As a third-generation master plumber, Daniel bridges the company's history and future. He learned the trade the same way his grandfather did, by doing the work, making mistakes, and understanding that excellence takes time. He still handles the complex problems that require years of experience, and he trains the next generation of technicians with the same patience his grandfather showed him.

Every technician is licensed, background-checked, and trained to represent the Johnson family name. We hold Texas Plumbing License #41416 and HVAC License TACLA 0076152E. Our HVAC team is NATE-certified, and we maintain BBB A+ rating and full insurance and bonding for your protection.
Rooted in Community
We don’t just work in Cedar Hill, Dallas, Midlothian, and Grand Prairie, we live here. Our kids go to school here. We shop at the same stores. When you see us at HEB or at a Little League game, we’re not “on duty”, we’re home.
That’s why community involvement isn’t a marketing program for us, it’s just what you do when you’re invested in your home. Through Dial One Cares, we support local schools, sponsor youth sports teams, partner with chambers of commerce, and work alongside organizations like the Cedar Hill Action Team. When neighbors need help during emergencies, we do what we can because that’s what neighbors do.
The community supported Dial One Johnson when we were getting started six decades ago. Supporting the community in return isn’t a strategy, it’s gratitude.
