Drain & Sewer Services in Dallas

Serving Cedar Hill & Surrounding Areas

If you check any appliance that uses water in your home, you should notice that they all have drains. Washing machines, dishwashers, sinks and bathtubs all need drains to function properly. Without these small yet important plumbing components, water that flows into our appliances wouldn’t be able to leave our home.
With so many drains in your home, it’s no wonder that you find a clog every once in a while. Fortunately, our team at Dial One Johnson Plumbing, Cooling and Heating have the expertise to remove any clog and get your drain back to working condition. We provide the following services for residents in the Dallas area:
Using advanced pipe cameras, we identify pipe clogs and damage so that we can quickly repair them. We also offer 24/7 emergency services for when your plumbing problems are too serious to wait.

Clog Removal Services

Some clogs are easy to remove by yourself with a plunger or toothed drain stick. For hard-to-reach or especially tough clogs, you’ll need to call a knowledgeable plumber. Our plumbing team has the experience and tools that they need to find your clog and evaluate which method will work best to remove it.

Here are a few methods we use to find and remove clogs:

Camera pipe inspection

To provide the most thorough inspection possible, we use a camera attached to a long cable that we insert into your pipes or sewer lines. The camera that we use offers high resolution images that we can use to identify clogs and other damage. Once we have determined the severity and contents of the clog, we consider two different options for removal.

Pipe snake

A pipe snake is a long piece of plastic or metal that has clasp at the end. The snake is flexible so that it can be easily maneuvered through the pipes. Our plumbing technicians will then unroll the snake into the pipes and unclog the line.

Hydro-jetting

Drain snakes don’t always get the job done when it comes to serious clogs. When a clog is stuck, made out of a sticky material or especially tough, we use hydro-jetting. Hydro-jetting is the process of blowing water at a very high pressure into the pipes or sewer line in order to remove the clog and clean the mess. Our plumbers use this safe method so that we don't have to take apart a plumbing system or unearth pipes.

Don’t stress about finances! We’ve got you covered!

Dallas Sewer Line Replacement and Repair

During our camera pipe inspection, we may discover that the problem is more than just a clog. You may have misalignment, corrosion, tree root infiltration or cracks and holes. Once the issue is fully evaluated and the cause can be determined, our team will discover your options with you. No matter the size or severity of the problem, our technicians at Dial One Johnson Plumbing, Cooling and Heating have the experience and skills to find a solution that works for you.

Broken Sewer Pipe Repair Services

One of the most serious plumbing problems that we come across are broken sewer pipes. If your sewer pipe has a crack, holes or has separated, there will be sewer drainage in your yard. If you start to notice brown puddles or a bad odor in the yard around your home, you should call a plumber right away to check for broken pipes. You may also notice cracks in the wall and slow draining pipes.

Does Homeowners Insurance Cover Sewer Line Replacement?

Depending on your homeowners insurance policy, it may or may not be covered. Often, policies will cover the cost of sewage cleanup but not the actual process of replacing the pipes. For example, they may cover the removal of sewage buildup on your yard but not digging up the pipes and replacing them. Check your insurance policy or give your provider a call to find out if you are covered for sewer line replacements.
